Your truly sustainable kayak expedition takes you into the remote wilderness of the Cooloola section of the Great Sandy National Park.
Camp beside the pristine Upper Noosa River, experience the vastness of the Cooloola Sand patch - a 4 hour return hike encompassing the massive sand blow and 360 views of the Noosa area.
Explore the remoteness of the upper wilderness area of the Noosa River and be dazzled by the serenity and scenery
Departing Location: Elanda Point Kayak and Canoe Launching Area, 204 Lake Flat Road
Tour Duration: 8.30am on Day 1 until 3.00 pm on Day 4

- Kinaba (Sir Thomas Hiley) Information Centre
- Noosa Everglades
- Harry's Hut
- The upper Noosa River
- Walk to the Cooloola Sandpatch (from Campsite 3)
What to bring:
- Food for 4 days
- Water bottle and Water (2litres/person/day - 2 x 5lt water bladders available from supermarket is the most suitable)
- Wear shoes that can get wet
- Sun smart clothing (Rashie & board shorts)
- Sunscreen, hat and sunglasses
- Insect Repellent
- Clothes – Shorts, T shirts, long pants, warm jumper, thermal underwear, beanie
- Shoes & socks for walking
- Small daypack for the walk
- Wind proof jacket/rain coat
- Sleeping Bag, sheets & small pillow
- Torch & lots of spare batteries
- Change of clothes and shoes to return home & towel
- Camera & plastic bag to put it in
- Mobile phone and charging pack (in case we need to contact you)
- Personal first aid kit
- Camping gear if you're not hiring it from us (Tent, cooker/pots/pan, cutlery, cups/plates/bowls, washing up equipment, sleeping mat, it needs to fit into one of our kayaks with everything else that you are bringing https://youtu.be/dDecbCMWiuo)

- Transfers from Noosa area. If you require a transfer from outside our set pickup locations, please give us a call.
- National Park Camping Permits. We can book your camp site for you for a small fee or you are welcome to book your own campsite via the National Park Website https://qpws.usedirect.com/QPWS/ Please note that these book out VERY fast so, if you're booking this yourself, you will need to book it immediately.
